The Nashua City Council will be considering Amending the Code of Ordinance to allow urban chickens within city limits. The City Council is requesting citizen input on whether or not urban chickens should be allowed within city limits. Formal input, which can be presented to the council at the next regularly scheduled council meeting, which will be held at City Hall Council Chambers at 7:00PM on November 17th; or if you are unable to attend the meeting, you can write a letter directed to the Nashua City Council and either drop it off at City Hall or mail it to City Hall:

How many?
What form of housing?
Plan for waste?
Should they have a release from each neighbor signed?
Registered?
Certificate from Veterinary?
How far from the property line should they be maintained?
If they fail to abide by the code what consequences should they have?
Who will be the poultry police?

Any written letters to the council must be received no later than 4:00PM on Friday November 14th.
