Formed by the dam on the Cedar River, the lake covers 470 acres and is approximately 9 feet deep. The lake is a fishing paradise from the boat or shore. The lake is stocked with smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, bullhead, channel catfish, crappie and walleye. Catfish are usually located around brush piles and in deep areas of the lake. Walleye and smallmouth bass are abundant below the dam.
