COMMUNITY EDUCATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Community Education Program was created in 2014 in an effort to provide youth recreation, adult education and other programming for Nashua, Plainfield and other surrounding communities, centered in the Husky Wellness Center and branching out to utilize all school facilities. The Community Education Program is directed by the Community Education Advisory Council which meets quarterly to discuss and implement community education needs. N-P YOUTH FOOTBALL
The Nashua-Plainfield YSF Football program provides opportunities for the development of football skills for area youth at the 3rd – 6th grade school age. The N-P YSF Football program utilizes the structure of the Youth Sports Foundation, an organization vested in helping provide opportunity and the means by which children can actively participate in an organized sport that values personal integrity, team and leadership skills, in a fun and healthy learning environment. Local volunteers coach, work concessions, and help with other fundraising opportunities. N-P LITTLE HUSKY WRESTLING
The Nashua-Plainfield Little Husky Wrestling program provides opportunities for the development of wrestling skills for area youth. The N-P Little Husky Wrestling program is organized by a small group of parents and community members. Volunteer opportunities with the N-P Little Husky Wrestling program include coaching, helping with practices, and assisting during the Little Husky Tournament.
